The Committee on Standards of Official Conduct has voted unanimously to extend the matter regarding Representative Maxine Waters, which was referred to this Committee from the Office of Congressional Ethics, for a 45-day period pursuant to Rules 17A(b)(l)(B) and 17A(b)(3)(c). Before or by the end of this 45-day period, the Committee will announce its course of action in this matter.
