Legal Expense Fund Form

The House Gift Rule allows the acceptance of "a contribution or other payment to a legal expense fund (LEF) established for the benefit of a Member, officer, or employee that is otherwise lawfully made in accordance with the resticitions and disclosure requirments of the Committee on Ethics."  Trustors must file quarterly reports with the Committee and the Legislative Resource Center disclosing contributions to an expenditures from an LEF.  The Committee has created a form for quarterly reports when an LEF does not have any activity.
